ING Direct is having a Financial Independence Days Sale that is going to allow you to EARN some extra cash!  The last money making sale they had like this was at Black Friday last year, so you won’t want to miss this as it doesn’t come around that often!

They are running quite a few different specials that will earn you some dough – here are my favorites:

Open a Electronic Orange Checking Account – Get a $152 Bonus!  (Normally only $50!)

• Open Electric Orange between June 30th – July 3rd and make a total of 5 purchases (either signature or PIN-based) using your Electric Orange Card or Person2Person Payments (or any combination of the two) within 45 days, and a $76 bonus will be automatically deposited into your account by August 22nd.
• Also earn $76 more for switching – Set up Direct Deposit and have two Direct Deposits of at least $250 post to your Electric Orange by August 31st, and your other $76 bonus for setting up Direct Deposit will be automatically deposited by September 10th.

Open a Kid’s Savings Account – Get a $17.76 Bonus! (Normally $0)

• Open a Kids Savings Account between June 30th – July 3rd and we’ll put a $17.76 bonus into your new account. Only available when you open a new account with at least one new Customer (either you or the kiddo must be a new Customer to ING DIRECT and yes, the kiddo must be under 18 years old).
• $17.76 bonus starts earning interest upon account opening, and is available for withdrawal after 30 days.
• There’s no minimum deposit amount required.

Open a MONEY Account (for Teens) - Get a $27.76 Bonus! (Normally $0)

• Open MONEY between June 30th – July 3rd and make 1 Card transaction (signature, PIN-based or with PayPassTM) using your MONEY Card within 30 days. Keep in mind, the teen gets the Card.
• Your $27.76 bonus will be automatically deposited into your account on day 35.
• There’s no minimum deposit amount required.

Refer 2 Friends to ING - Get a $76 Bonus (They get a bonus too!)

• Refer a friend between June 30^th – July 3^rd and you’ll receive a $76 bonus for the first 2 friends who open an Orange Savings Account^SM with a minimum deposit of $250 using the link in the referral email before July 31^st, 2012.
• Each of your friends will get a $25 bonus (if they open the account with at least $250).
• Your original $10 bonus will be deposited into your account when each of your friends opens an account. Your additional $56 bonus will be deposited into your account by August 10^th, 2012.
• Your friends must be new Customers as the primary owner of the account.
• To take part in the Refer a Friend program, you must have an Orange Savings Account or Electric Orange checking^SM.

These sales are only happening through July 3rd (Tuesday) night at 11:59pm EST so make sure that you register for an account before that time to qualify for these limited time bonuses!

 I personally have an ING Electronic Orange and Kid’s Savings Accounts and use them regularly.  They make checking easy with your smart phone as you can access your account balance, deposit checks and more without ever going to the bank!  They even have paper checks now that you can use for your Electronic Account so you don’t have to only pay bills online.
