Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® presents DRAGONS is coming to Washington, DC at the Verizon Center in the next few weeks!  I’ve been working with Feld Entertainment to let you know about these local events over the past few years, but this is the first time we’ve mention the Ringling Bros. and Barnum and Bailey circus! 

 Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey® presents DRAGONS is a once in a millennium event that honors The Year of the Dragon. Circus performers from the farthest reaches of the earth have assembled for DRAGONS to showcase their astounding acts of bravery and astonishing athleticism. This fantastical celebratory tournament of circus champions brings together mystic dragon lore with authentic circus feats. DRAGONS is a never-before-seen blend of renowned spiritual and real life legends that can be found only at The Greatest Show On Earth®!

DRAGONS performs at two arenas in the Washington, D.C. area – the Verizon Center in the District from March 20 – 24 and the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. from April 10 – 21. DRAGONS will also perform at the 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, Md. from March 27 – April 7.

The All Access Pre-show Party is hosted one hour before show time and is free to ticket holders. The Pre- show allows audience members to meet and take photos with performers, try on circus costumes, learn circus skills and have the chance to win a masterpiece painting by one of the Ringling Bros. artistic Asian elephants.

Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Get the sillies out! Tour coming to DC area!

Are you as excited as I am that Yo Gabba Gabba! LIVE! Get the Sillies Out! Tour is coming near us?!  I’m so super stoked to be able to take my kids to see the live show next weekend.  In 2013 they will be traveling across the US to over 50 cities making stops where you can join them to jump, shake and shimmy the sillies out with them!

DJ Lance Rock and the colorful cast of characters want you to come join them!  Check out all the US tour dates and locations of Yo Gabba Gabba! Live! Get the Sillies out! Tour.  Yo Gabba Gabba! is an award-winning, live-action television series and live stage show whose unconventional formula has created a triple stacked fan base, making it one of the most popular entertainment properties among preschoolers, parents and indie music lovers alike. The television show, now in its fourth season, airs several times a day on Nick Jr.

Coming to our area are two shows this coming weekend:

Disney on Ice Presents Treasure Trove coming to the Verizon Center in Washington, DC from February 13 – 18!  Here’s some VERY exciting news:  Tomorrow 1/8/13 you’ll be able to purchase up to 6 tickets for only $1 each while supplies last!  Starting at 10am head and ending at 5:30pm (or while supplies last!) at the Verizon Center Box office located at 601 F Street NW Washington, DC  20004.

These select $1 Tickets will be for certain seating areas which I do not have a listing on – but from what I’ve been told even if you miss the $1 ticket sale, you’ll receive $5 off every ticket you purchase during that particular time frame.
