The first weekend in August I was able to travel to New York City to celebrate, experience and consume BlogHer 2012! This is a conference that is geared toward women that are in the blogging industry to make networking connections, build their blog and learn! I must say it was a VERY exhausting weekend which lead me to take a few weeks off upon my return! Whew, who knew traveling, talking and learning would be SO tiring?
I must start off by thanking my sponsor, Swagbucks for sending me to NYC to indulge in all of this! They have graciously exchanged sending me to learn more about what I can do by building connections on my blog for me to simply tell all of you how much I love them! And not only that, as you know I’m an active user / promoter of Swagbucks and what types of FREE rewards cash and gifts you can get from using them! So, in case you haven’t already joined I would suggest looking into my Swagbucks guide to earning free stuff!
P.S. Do you have a blog? If you, they want YOU to join the Swagbucks blogging program!

I even got to meet Hal at Swagbucks and of course I had to ask him if he was The Swag Guy? I’m sad to report, no he is not.

Although I’m sure the sessions were very informative I was unable to attend any of them from bouncing around town going to private meetings and events trying to make connections with some of the brand representatives that I would like to further feature on Must Love Coupons, for you – the readers! I was able to meet a lot of brands and attend their events where they were showcasing their newest products and upcoming Christmas releases. I’m so excited for some of the toys I was able to get my hands on!
Of course, there was time to get a photo or two at some of the events too!

And I even got to go backstage to see Good Morning America film LIVE and then over to their Summer concert series where we got to catch a LIVE performance of Ne-Yo!

A lot of bloggers talk about the Swag at BlogHer. Here’s a shot of some of the goodies I got to bring home… or swap … or drop off in the swap room because there wasn’t enough room in my suitcases to bring it all home. My kids dug through my suitcase rummaging for everything they could get their fingers on! It was like Christmas for them when I got home.

This was an amazing trip and I am grateful for having the opportunity to head to New York and be a part of it to build my blog. Most importantly, I am so excited for all the opportunities that this will bring for my readers! Thanks for being a loyal part of the Must Love Coupons community!

Hey everyone! My name is Lisa and I'm 28 years old living in Western New York. I really only started couponing in October 2011 when I was on unemployment. I was always frugal with my money, but I never really knew how much money I could save just by using coupons and learning to pair them with sales to maximize savings. I started blogging to help others learn to coupon, live frugal, and find the best deals in order to save as much money in their wallet as I can.
